Project Description

Looking to modernize their website, Kloby’s Smokehouse came to us at Rosie’s Creative for a graphically intense website that would reflect the atmosphere of their barbecue restaurant. The new website needed to be optimized for search engine marketing, while also being easy for Kloby’s to maintain, change, and expand.

To meet these needs, we at Rosie’s Creative found that a custom WordPress theme would be the best fit. The WordPress platform features a user-friendly dashboard which enables the client to easily modify site content and graphics. Kloby’s also desired a unique interactive mobile experience that encouraged user engagement, and WordPress allows this to be easily managed by the client.

When designing for Kloby’s Smokehouse, we wanted to replicate the feeling of the rich, mouthwatering atmosphere of their restaurant. To achieve this, we went with a dark and smoky visual theme that used promotional images of the restaurant and menu items supplied by the client. Alongside these smoldering color choices, we used fonts that reflected the branding standards already in place, to create an overall delectable user experience.
