Project Description

A medical startup specializing in the detection of fungal infections, MycoMed Technologies came to us at Rosie’s Creative in search of a new website as well as some help with branding and digital marketing. They wanted a simple, yet versatile and adaptable website that could grow with their needs over time, and a partner that could provide valuable feedback along the way. Rosie’s Creative was happy to help MycoMed Technologies during this time of growth.

Following our initial consultation, we decided that a new website built on the WordPress platform would be the best fit for a number of reasons. WordPress sites are mobile responsive, SEO friendly, and support social media integration, while the WordPress user interface makes it easy for the client to maintain the site themselves. The flexibility and adaptability of WordPress gives MycoMed Technologies a website that serves as a foundation for the future – a basic hub for information now, but with the built-in ability for later expansion, as needs dictate.

MycoMed did not have much of a brand identity when they came to us, so we helped them to develop one during the design process. We used a color scheme typical for the medical field, with calming blues and greens. As for typeface design, legibility was a high priority, as was the desire to project a progressive, forward-thinking image, so we stuck with clean and modern sans serif typefaces throughout the website.
