Project Description

Sharkwater is a vessel belonging to Fins Attached, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting marine life education and research. Fins Attached enlisted Rosie’s Creative to provide brochures for their ship outlining the Code of Conduct for all participants, a Dive Briefing, and Safety Procedures. The goal was to ensure that all participants could easily find any necessary information to facilitate a safe and enjoyable research expedition.

Rosie’s Creative used the black and white Fins Attached logo, which emphasizes their focus on sharks, as the signature focal point of each brochure’s design. Working with attractive high-resolution images of the Sharkwater as a background we created a series of 3 brochures, each including a handy map of the Sharkwater’s layout and each covering one of 3 vital topics: Code of Conduct, Dive Briefing, and Safety Procedures. We used cool shades of blue as a design feature to enhance the nautical nature of the brochures, with fonts and contrasting backgrounds chosen especially to facilitate easy reading.
