Project Description

Launched in the spring of 2017, Bitsy Web is a new project from the team at Rosie’s Creative, founded with the mission of providing startups and microbusinesses with high quality, professionally serviced WordPress sites at an affordable price.

Since Bitsy Web sites are powered by WordPress, it was a no-brainer that Bitsy Web’s own website would be built using this versatile and flexible platform. But we decided to go a step further, and construct the entire site using one of our own Bitsy Templates, which will be the basis of all new websites built by Bitsy Web. We wanted to demonstrate confidence in our Bitsy Templates as a sturdy foundation for a professional quality website – and what better way to do this than by using one as the foundation for our own site?

The website, like all Bitsy Web sites, is fully mobile responsive. The overall design reinforces Bitsy Web’s brand identity, which consists of brash reds and yellows contrasted with black. The high contrast works well on mobile devices, and the bold, aggressive color scheme is meant to convey a sense of high energy, a reflection of Bitsy Web’s commitment to delivering big results on an accelerated development schedule. Fonts were kept simple, with an emphasis placed on readability across different devices.
